Wedding Crafts

Hello!

While I have been decorating & creating crafts since I was small child, my interest in wedding decorations started, of course, with my own wedding. I married the love of my life this past April (2013) & we made our wedding really our own. All of our decorations were created by us, for us. Everything was personal & displayed our style. We both were so very pleased with the outcome of our hard work. While all of the decorations were actually created by me, we brain-stormed the ideas. And together we made the invitations.

I strongly believe that every wedding deserves to be special & personalized to the couple. Because of that, I would love to help you personalize your own! If you have a theme or color scheme in mind for your wedding & would like decorations hand-made, please email me at craftsbytiffyd@gmail.com and let’s see what we can come up with. For my own wedding I made a card box, ring boxes, centerpieces, programs, aisle decorations, wine charms (favors), & even my Bridesmaids gifts (personalized wine glass & a wrap bracelet for the wedding). And I’m willing to make anything else you can come up with!

Below are some pictures of our wedding decorations after I completed them. Our theme was a bit complex. Our colors were purple & white, with a touch of green. Our ceremony was in a beautiful garden (very wedding typical), but our reception was inside of a Stone walled, dark wooded bistro that has gargoyles on its ceiling lamps. We LOVE Halloween & everything spooky, but we didn’t want to have a Halloween wedding, persay. So instead, we had a beautiful garden ceremony & our reception inside of a bistro featuring dark, rustic type of decor. We hid skull beads throughout our decorations, but kept it from looking too childish/cheesy. Our cake topper was really the only thing that was outwardly creepy (see the picture below).

Our cake topper was the one thing I did not make myself. I told the creator what we wanted as far as our looks (he made my dress look (somewhat) like mine, & Adam’s suit like his), & which weapons we each wanted. The pieces we’re stepping on are  zombie body parts. Get it? We’re zombie fighters!  (And this was a gift that many friends & family members who decided to pitch in for <3 It was a surprise!)
